really interesting article written by Peter Hessler about the life of a reporter, the sacrifices and self-destruction that sometimes feels required to actually get anything worth reading/viewing
Almost reminds me of Fellini’s “La_Dolce_Vita”
on another note, I really wish the New Yorker ran a portrait of Jake Adelstein as he sounds like he has created such a visually interesting character for himself. So instead here is an image I found online of a scary looking dude that is part of the Yakuza
